We'll be at BOUND Art Book Fair taking place at the Whitworth in Manchester this October with a stall on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th.
On Sunday 26th October at 2pm we'll be combining forces with Manchester's Crop Radio to present a conversation on sober parties, community gatherings and third spaces between SEEN co-founder Balraj Samrai and Gloss co-founder Tyron Webster.
We will discuss the pros and cons of dry events, gatherings centred around food, better health advocacy and performances not tied solely to alcohol sales. As more venues close down and gentrification envelopes our cities the demand for creative space is high.
Can third spaces such as community centres, studios, arts spaces, libraries, cafes and homes provide accessible places to gather?
Join the pair at BOUND Art Book Fair for an open conversation exploring the impact of this shift in club culture and beyond. No booking is required. Entry is FREE for the session.
